ご協力ありがとうございます。これで、生活に欠かせない水の確保ができ、
子どもたちのための給食作りのための基盤ができます。

次のステップは、給食を食べて有意義に勉強ができる場所を充実させることです。
そのためにまず、教室のドアと鍵、さらには防犯のための設備もつけていく必要があります。
さらに、学校の周りに排水溝を設置し、衛生的な管理もしていきます。
衛生面においては、常設のトイレも作る予定です。

こうした設備の整理によって、さらにタウィナの子どもたちの学校生活に貢献することができます。子ども達の笑顔、成長は、タウィナの人々みんなの希望となっていきます。

Thanks to an amazing response to our Tawina Appeal we have raised the funds required
to begin drilling a well at Tawina Nursery before the rainy season. The impact will be huge. But our work is not yet complete.

Tawina Nursery has long been neglected and we aim to change that – and it can be done with your help. Now that we have secured water to accompany the food our focus is on Shelter.

Tawina Nursery is a nursery in name only yet 100 children are spending their so-called best days in a building with no doors, a rudimentary toilet and no play resources. We can change that by achieving our next goal

Improving Nursery School Room & Building a Toilet
Estimated Cost in USD/Yen: Approx USD 1,250/ JPY 137,000
Based on the community around Tawina providing 20 tonnes of river sand we propose to do the following;

– Plaster/Paint the inside walls so the nursery can be decorated inside
– Affix Door Frames and Hang Doors
– Put Locks on all Doors
– Affix Burglar Bars to the Food Storage Room
– Construct a Drain around the Nursery Building
– Build a Permanent Toilet
